 It's 1983 and the crack cocaine epidemic is in its infancy in Los Angeles. Ambitious Lucia -- the daughter of a Mexican crime lord who sells marijuana throughout the city -- sees the burgeoning cocaine business as a potential moneymaker, so she manipulates her family into entering the more dangerous and profitable territory than pot. Getting involved with the new drug is setting her on a violent collision course with the likes of Franklin, a young street entrepreneur on a quest for power, and former Mexican wrestler Gustavo, who is caught up in a power struggle within a crime family. Also getting involved in the cocaine trade is CIA operative Teddy, who is running from a dark past and begins an off-book operation to fund Nicaraguan Contras. Oscar-nominated director John Singleton (`Boyz N the Hood') co-created the drama series and says he drew inspiration from his own life for Franklin's story. 

SEASON 1-4 

 

It is the summer of 1986, one year after the events of Season 4 and Franklin and the rest of his Family are rich beyond their wildest dreams. Things go sideways real quick when NBA draft pick Len Bias dies courtesy of the product Franklin has been peddling and now the politicians are up in arms over the issue. On top of that, the LAPD has formed the new CRASH team leading to a ruthless crackdown on gangs, dealers, and crime bosses.

                                Synchronicity 

Three physicists, Matty, Chuck and Jim Beal are funded by Klause Misner, a multi millionaire tycoon that manufacturers MRD, a product that generates energy to fuel their time machine for travel. 

After months of testing theories, Jim Beal during the experiment, falls unconscious because of a explosion. When he wakes, Chuck tells him he has been knocked out for a few moments and that Klause has left. 

Beal, reveals a wormhole that he notices on surveillance camera, during the experiment and someone in silhouette, escaping out of building. 

Running out of the lab, searching to chase down the person on camera, Jim bumps into Abby Ross, smoking a cigarette. 

Klause Misner, pulls up in his chauffeured Lincoln Town Car, advising them both to join him for a late dinner with wife after Jim convinces him that the time travel experiment was a success, begging for more financial backing to continue working, desperately in need of more MRD.  

Abby is very seductive to both of men, so they jump in and are off.  

After negotiations of 49% of the invention by Jim Beal to continue experiments, Klause Misner accepts any liabilities with a deadline of one week to completion. 

Abby Ross seductively lures Jim Beal to her spacious loft apartment in the city to synchronize the deal, when Jim's flip phone rings.  

Chuck is asking him some target questions, forewarning him to leave Abby ALONE. 

Rushing out of her apartment, he runs back over to Matty and Chuck to discuss their assignment to complete Dahlia experimentations. 

The Prequel

 

Stargate Origins: Catherine   

Giza, Egypt during the summer of 1928, Professor Langford and his 12 year old daughter uncover by accident an Ancient Stargate Dial used for time travel on their excavation trip. She is gifted a pure gold time piece with a eye of Horus encrypted on the outer shell. 

Fast forward to 1938, Professor Langford has transported the Stargate Dial to Europe, still unaware of what it is, very upset he's ran out of funds to continue research, takes his frustration out on his daughter, Catherine.  

This MGM budget isn't low, the characterization is just rushed. 

William Burke and a band of Nazis, along with his vixen cinematographer, bum Rush the entire operation. Banishing blueprints to start up the time machine dial, they kidnap Professor Langford, who speaks ancient Coptic language of the Pharaohs of the 1st Dynasty. 

Leaving Catherine behind, travelling through the Stargate, it seems that world will no longer be same world she knew. 

Captain James Beal and Wasif, an Egyptian interpreter agree to help Catherine rescue her father and jump through the time warp. 

Ra's empire is very desolate and appears to be a structure that he is designing around for just 1000 people. 

Pushing everyone into the past, RA is observing the entire population from the Cheops class warship, taking inventory of Naquadah.
